Tessa earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 2009. After graduation, she was an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer In Service To America) at the University of Texas at Austin in the Volunteer & Service Learning Center. For two years she focused on supporting student volunteers with their service in the Austin community. In 2013, she completed her master’s degree in College Student Personnel at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. At Tennessee, she worked with students struggling with their academic career, as well as advised undergraduates in the College of Education, Health, & Human Sciences.
In June 2013, Tessa joined the ATEC undergraduate advising team.
