The Compliance Subcommittee is a group of risk area managers appointed by the President with advice from the Compliance Officer to advise and assist in the performance of specific tasks in the compliance program, such as developing a risk-based plan, ensuring awareness, and evaluating reports from the high-risk responsible parties. The subcommittee is an information-sharing and awareness-raising advisory group that provides leadership and helps ensure accountability for university compliance. The subcommittee accomplishes this by identifying and evaluating institutional risks and communicating recommendations to the Audit and Compliance Committee to aid in remediation efforts.
