CURRENT RESEARCH

UTD Couples, Sleep and Health Study

We are currently recruiting couples who are living together or who are married for the Couples, Sleep and Health Study. The purpose of this study is to understand how daily life among couples is associated with sleep and general health.

You and your partner will be asked to participate in a 1.5 hour lab session to complete questionnaires followed by a two week daily diary period that involves completing brief daily questionnaires at home, taking saliva samples, and electronically monitoring sleep and daily behavior.

To compensate you for your time, you and your spouse can receive up to $220 as a couple. There is also a chance to win additional prizes.

We are looking for couples who

  • are living together or who are married
  • are non-smokers
  • are between the ages of 18-45
  • are not pregnant or have children under 5 years of age
