Research Interests

My research examines individual differences in healthy and pathological aging. I apply advanced multivariate and longitudinal analyses (structural equation modeling, latent growth curve modeling) to understand developmental processes.

Current research projects include:

  1. Psychosocial indicators of adaptive behaviors (e.g., memory compensatory strategies and coping strategies) in middle-aged and older adults.
  2. Modifiers (e.g., lifestyle) of executive functioning across the adult lifespan.
  3. The investigation of genetic vulnerabilities to cognitive functioning across the adult lifespan.
  4. Intraindividual variability in Parkinson's disease with and without dementia.
  5. Emotion regulation and aging.
