Helen Kenedi teaches graduate courses and supervises graduate students in the Communication Disorders Program. She specifically supervises graduate students in practicums that focus on adult neurogenic disorders and swallowing disorders. Ms. Kenedi serves as an academic advisor, clinical advisor, and is on the program’s admissions committee. Before coming to UT Dallas, she worked in the Baylor Healthcare System. She has experience helping adults with neurogenic communication disorders and dysphagia in a variety of settings including acute care, in- and out-patient rehabilitation, home health, and long term acute care. Ms. Kenedi earned her bachelor’s degree from McGill University and her master’s degree from UT Dallas.
