Volunteers and Judges

BEST Competitions are made possible due to its dedicated volunteers. We thank you in advance for your willingness to volunteer to help with this worthwhile program. We guarantee you'll have a blast!

During the Texas BEST weekend, Volunteers will interact with parents, students, and teachers. Volunteers should put their best foot forward and be helpful, friendly, and overall good stewards of BEST Robotics and the University of Texas at Dallas. Keep in mind that this is a championship event for a national program and these students have worked very hard to get to this point.

 

General Volunteer and Judge Sign-up  

 

A hospitality room will be provided at the Curtis Culwell Center where meals, snacks, and beverages will be provided for event volunteers, judges and corporate sponsors only. Because of the non-profit nature of the BEST program, we are unable to pay for out-of-town volunteer/judges' accommodations; however, we have room blocks for a discounted group rate at nearby hotels - see hotel information on the website.

The Medical, Talent and Liability Release Form is required from all individuals volunteering with Texas BEST (see below). The completed form should be scanned and emailed to best@utdallas.edu or faxed to 972-883-4454 by midnight November 1, 2014.
