The University of Texas at Dallas Office of Business Affairs operates under the leadership of Vice President, Dr. Calvin Jamison. Dr. Jamison is the Chief Business Officer of the University and reports to the President.
The Business Affairs division of The University of Texas at Dallas consists of the Vice President's Office and major functional departments responsible for financial management; budgets and reporting; facilities maintenance, planning and construction; land development; police; and administrative services such as human resources, payroll, purchasing, print shop, food service and bookstore.
The Vice President is also the designated Custodian of Records for the University, acts as the University's Ethics Officer, and oversees the University's Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) program.

The mission of Business Affairs is to manage The University of Texas at Dallas business operations in a manner that facilitates the achievement of the university’s teaching, research, and public service objectives. Essential to achieving this mission are effective business processes, financial health, and the safety of the campus community.
