The Comet Calendar is an online listing of various student happenings around campus. Movies, plays, musicals and dances as well as art exhibitions, student life, academic and sports events can be found here.The UTD Comet Calendar is linked to from the UT Dallas home page and has high visibility, especially to students.

Calendar users can subscribe to the RSS feed of upcoming events and/or download calendar events into Microsoft Outlook and MAC iCal Calendars.

How to Add Events

The Event Planning Guide discusses everything you need to know (and more) about campus event planning at UT Dallas. The guide provides information on policies, planning process, tips and tricks, publicizing and canceling.

Events Sponsored by Students

The Student Union room registration form offers an option to have your event listed in the Comet Calendar. If you choose this option, your event will be added to the Comet Calendar once the event is approved.

Events Sponsored by Staff / Faculty

Most of the departments on campus have Comet Calendar publishers. If your event is affiliated with one of the departments listed below, please contact someone in that department by clicking on it.

If your department is not in the list above, or if your event is not affiliated with any department, contact the Web Developer.

Please use your NetId and password to login to the Comet Calendar Update - Administration Center.
Comet Calendar Update has a link to the document that provides directions on how to add/edit and remove events.
