40@40: ECS faculty member Ravi Prakash will give a talk titled "ALOHA Dr. Abramson. Could We Eat the Telco's Lunch?: Evolution of Computer Networking" as part of a year-long series of 40 events (or more) created to mark UT Dallas' fourth decade as a UT System institution. The lecture will address the first wireless network, the AlohaNet, which was deployed in 1970 and paved the way for the Ethernet protocol.
