American Music for Cello and Piano

Cellist Jesus Castro-Balbi, of the Clavier Trio, and pianist Gloria Lin perform works by Blessinger, González, Ninov, Rentowski, Villa-Lobos, Wheeler and UT Dallas Professor of Music Robert X. Rodríguez.  The Lin/Castro-Balbi Duo has performed throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.  The Duo’s most recent appearances include National Public Radio’s Performance Today; the 4th International Chamber Music Festa in Osaka, Japan; Chamber Music America’s 25th Anniversary Marathon Concert at Symphony Space; WNYC’s Soundcheck, SummerFest La Jolla; and the XIV International Music Festival in Morelia, Mexico.  Sponsored by the National Association of Composers, USA (NACUSA) with support from the City of Richardson through the City of Richardson Arts Commission.
