The healthcare reform legislation signed into law earlier this year will have profound and far-reaching consequences for American business, the healthcare industry and healthcare consumers. The public, students, faculty and staff are welcome and encouraged to attend as distinguished panelists engage in a dialogue about how these changes will affect businesses, business owners and employees.

Professor Forney Fleming, M.D., director of SOM's M.S. in Healthcare Management Program, is moderating the panel, whose members are:

 - Britt  R. Berrett, president, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, and executive vice president, Texas Health Resources
 - U.S. Rep. Michael C. Burgess (26th District of Texas), M.D. and an SOM alumnus
 - J. Darren Rodgers, president, BlueCross BlueShield of Texas
 - John McCracken,  SOM clinical professor of healthcare management and founding director of SOM Alliance for Medical Management .
