Cost share is not a four-letter word! This session will provide participants with a clear understanding of cost share. The Office of Sponsored Projects will demystify cost share outline how the presence of cost share affects the grant project at the proposal stage and discuss how cost share needs to be administered prior to submission of the grant application. The Office of Post-award Management will discuss cost share and how it is administered after a grant proposal is awarded. OPM will also outline the internal administrative actions needed before a cost center is created and grant funds expended.
