10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Location: ROC 2.902
Taught by Colleen Dutton, AVP of Human Resources.
Have you ever made a bad hire? Thought the person was going to be great, but it didn’t work out? Looking for a tool to help guide you through the recruitment and selection process?
Is it sometimes difficult to identify and resolve an employee relations issue? Is the problem due to the employee’s lack of ability or skill? A bad attitude? Not being a team player? Or did the employee just never really fit in?
The Diamond Employee model guides you in identifying criteria for a successful hire and in determining the real employee issues impacting performance and behavior. Participants will learn how to use the Four C’s to select the best applicant based on overall fit for the position, and work with existing employees to help improve performance and achieve goals.
The Four C’s of a Diamond Employee session also explores the attributes that make a “diamond” supervisor and how collectively we can make UTD a “diamond” employer.
