Center for Children welcomes Andrea Warner-Czyz, Ph.D., CCC-A, "Early communication and academic success in children with and without communication disorders"
The ability of infants and young children to develop speech, language, and listening skills influences not only later communication skills, but also academic success. This talk reviews ways for parents and professionals to facilitate early communication in young children with typical development and in children with speech, language, or hearing difficulties.
The School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences and The Center for Children and Families invites you to the 2013 Spring Lecture Series. The lecture are free and open to the public- no RSVP needed. The talks will be held Friday mornings, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with a reception following.
