Metroplex Day encourages interdisciplinary research and stimulates research projects that leverage the strengths of The University of Texas at Dallas, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, and The University of Texas at Arlington.

Poster contest: there will be a $200 prize awarded for the best poster in each of ten categories. Poster submissions due February 22, 2013.

Keynote speaker: Shimon Weiss, UCLA’s Dean Willard Chair and Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry and Physiology.
