Description: University policy (D11-230) specifies that classified and administrative and professional (A&P) staff will have their job performance evaluated on an annual basis and that the appraisal process should be completed during the first quarter of each calendar year. This year, the completed appraisal forms are due in the office of Human Resources on Friday, April 5, 2013.
As is the practice at this time each year, the Office of Human Resources Management will be offering calibration and training sessions for supervisors. These sessions focus on strategies and best practices to help supervisors and managers conduct fair, meaningful and effective performance reviews. Our ultimate aim is to help our employees succeed. If you are a new supervisor at the University or this will be your first time to conduct performance reviews, you should plan on attending one of the scheduled training sessions before completing appraisals on those you supervise. All supervisors, however, are encouraged to attend one of the scheduled sessions.
Target Audience: Class is open to any UT Dallas staff or faculty responsible for conducting employee annual performance reviews.
