We have been studying gender differences in the workplace for many decades. Women now make up over 50% of the American workforce. Women are breadwinners in two out of five households. Women make up almost 60% of college students, as well as 50% of students in law school and medical school. They also make or influence 70% of all buying decisions. Learning to work with women is essential in today’s marketplace. Marsha’s presentation will focus on understanding gender differences in:
• Leadership Styles• Relationships• Power• Being a ‘Team Player’• Friendships• Meetings• Approaching New Situations• Communication – Language, Non-Verbal Cues, and Body Orientation.
You don’t want to miss this informative presentation and discussion about how seemingly ‘invisible differences’ can impact our perceived performance and future opportunities.
Open to students, faculty, staff, community, and industry. Dinner is included.
