Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) is a program of self defense training for female students, faculty, and staff. The goal is to develop and enhance the options of self defense, so they may become viable considerations to the woman who is attacked. The instructors believe that self defense should be easy to learn, easy to retain, and relatively easy to employ during real confrontational situations.
The class will be taught over three days (March 25-27), for 3 hours per day (6pm-9pm). For more information or to register, please go to http://www.utdallas.edu/police/rad.html or contact Sgt. Kendra Penny at kpenny@utdallas.edu or 972-883-2574.
