Tom will be speaking about the Goldman Sachs culture and an overview of its business. He will also highlight the impact of transitioning to a Bank Holding Company (BHC) as well as highlighting the Dallas office.

Tom is chief administrative officer for Goldman Sachs Bank USA, a role he has held since 2009. He assumed additional responsibilities as co-chief executive officer of the Realty Management Division in 2012. Tom serves on various committees, including the Bank Management Committee, Bank Risk Committee, Bank Client and Business Standards Committee and Bank New Activity Committee. He is also an MD ally of the firmwide Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Network.
Tom joined Goldman Sachs in 1993 and held a variety of roles in the Firmwide Technology group in both Europe and the United States. From 1999 to 2001, he was head of Technology for the Asset Management Group and from 2002 to 2004 he had oversight of Technology for the Investment Management Division (IMD). From 2004 to 2006, Tom assumed responsibility for managing Operations and Technology for IMD. Prior to assuming his current roles, Tom was chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs Services in India, responsible for oversight of staff across Operations, Technology, Finance, Investment Banking, Global Investment Research, Corporate Services and Compliance. He was named managing director in 1999 and partner in 2008.
Prior to joining the firm, Tom spent a number of years in technology consulting and systems integration managing large- scale technology initiatives for financial services firms, including Goldman Sachs.
Tom earned a BS in Psychology from St. Lawrence University in 1982.
