"Web programming using PHP" workshop

While these in-semester weekend workshops are primarily for UTD community, we will allow a limited # of school students to attend as well. School teachers are always welcome to attend. Advance registration is required. Lunch will be provided.   Topics that will be covered in the camp:     PHP Internals.    Datatypes,Arrays,    Functions,    Classes and Objects,    Files and Directories.    Web Form Handling    Data Validation    Sessions and User Tracking  

While these in-semester weekend workshops are primarily for UTD community, we will allow a limited # of school students to attend as well. School teachers are always welcome to attend.    It is a good idea to have basic knowledge in various programming languages to appreciate 2nd half of this workshop. Also, we encourage you to attend Mint OS workshop on Sep 14th before coming to this workshop.   You need to bring Linux installed in your PC. Linux will NOT be installed in this workshop. This workshop will be like "continuation of Mint OS workshop" - Linux command line & various operators - Redirection & magical | operator - A few simple Scripts - development environment for each language - makefiles & version control system   Advance registration is required. No refunds for cancellations. Lunch will be provided.
