The 2014 10-Week Wellness Challenge, a team-based weight-loss and physical activity program, begins on January 27 with an indoor walk followed by a lunch-and-learn session.
The walk will start on the first floor of the Administration Building at 11:30 a.m. This year’s lunch-and-learn will provide participants with a healthy lunch, work-out inspiration from Bobby Whisnand, fitness professional and personal trainer, and the chance to win one of two Fitbits! Faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend and to sign up for the challenege.
To participate in the challenge, please register your team online at livehealthynorthtexas.org using the code LHDUTD. Registration begins Monday, January 13, 2014 and ends Feb. 10, 2014. The challenge runs through April 4.
