Spring 2014 Sales Executive Seminar Series #3: Growth and Profitability in a Commodity-Based Business

Dean Kyle, SW Zone General Manager and National Recruiter for Henry Schein Dental,  will discuss how he successfully grew his dental supply business and how he eventually merged with Sullivan Dental and then Henry Schein.

Dean Kyle is the SW Zone General Manager and National Recruiter for Henry Schein Dental.  Dean received his Associates in Science degree from Cooke County College and graduated from the US Army Biomedical Equipment Engineering program. In 1975 he purchased Inglis Dental Supply Inc. and was president until its merger in 1995 with Sullivan Dental.  With Sullivan he served as the Southwest Regional Manager for three years when Sullivan merged with Henry Schein.

Along with his duties as Zone General Manager for the Southwest Zone, Dean has developed a successful recruiting program with several universities to hire the best sales students as sales professionals for Henry Schein. He pioneered the successful intern program for Henry Schein. Dean is on the advisory board with Kennesaw State University’s Center for Professional Selling, C.T. Bauer College of Business Sales Excellence Program at University of Houston, Ball State University, University of Dayton, McCoy College of Business at Texas State University, and Fisher Institute for Professional Selling at University of Akron.
