The theme this academic year is "Thrive: Redefining Success", based on the book Thrive written by Arianna Huffington, co-founder and editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group.
In her book, Huffington shares how our relentless pursuit of money and power has led to burnout, stress-related illnesses, and loss in the quality of our relationships, family life and careers.
In the fall, we focused on redefining success through well-being and wisdom. We left with tools and insights to enrich our minds and spirits.
In Part II of the series, we will examine the two additional pillars suggested by Huffington: wonder and giving.
Our goal is to unleash our imagination, revolutionize our personal and professional lives and ignite the joy of being a part of something larger than ourselves.
Patrons with disabilities who need special assistance, such as an interpreter or captioning, to attend this presentation should contact us no later than 72 hours prior to the presentation.
