The Wall That Heals
Wednesday, Nov 19, 2014 - Wednesday, Nov 23, 2014 Location: East lawn of the Eugene McDermott Library off Drive G

The University of Texas at Dallas invites you to honor the fallen of the Vietnam War at The Wall That Heals and reflect on Americans who served by visiting The Wall That Heals, a traveling 250-foot replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The four-day exhibit will host events, and educational opportunities. The Wall is open to the public 24 hours a day and admission is free.

Wednesday, Nov. 19 at sunset – Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 until noon

Parking in Lots C and D: Parking will be available in the green-striped spots of both lots, and Comet Cabs will shuttle guests to the welcome ceremony event. Lot C also has spots for handicap parking.

Lot G and Parking Structure 1: Handicap parking available.

Welcome ceremony Friday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. with guest speaker: U.S. Congressman. Sam Johnson, Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and POW for nearly seven years in the Hanoi Hilton. Flyover by the Cavanaugh Flight Museum (weather permitting). RSVP suggested for Welcome Ceremony: to visitthewall@utdallas.edu
