Kurzweil Integral and Discontinuous Hysteresis
Discontinuous rate independent processes arise naturally in mechanics, economics, or in singularly perturbed evolution systems. We show here that the Kurzweil integral formalism offers a toll for efficient formulation of the corresponding mathematical models. The advantage of this approach relies on the simplicity and robustness of the Kurzweil integral calculus for discontinuous evolution variational inequalities.
