InfraGard: Electromagnetic Pulse -- The Harsh & Hard Realities
Wednesday, Jun 22, 2016
10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Location: JSOM 1.118

The InfraGard North Texas Members Alliance is hosting their June gathering at The University of Texas at Dallas. They are extremely proud to present, “EMP—The Harsh & Hard Realities” with nationally known and distinguished guest speaker Mr. Charles Manto.

The electromagnetic fields emitted by weapons specifically designed and deployed with the intent to produce EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) have a high likelihood of damaging electrical power systems, electronics, including automotive electronics and information systems upon which American society depends.

What are these effects? What can be done to shield the American People? How can you remain a functional asset in an EMP environment? These questions and more will be answered by Mr. Charles Manto.
