7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Location: Jonsson Performance Hall
What began as a conversation over dinner in New York City in 2011 has evolved into a one-act play written and performed by Stella Hlad and Scott Ramsey. In this autobiographical play, the audience is given an opportunity to peer into a mother and son's revelatory moments of reflection.
With the warmth of texas sunshine guiding the way, Stella and Scott recall the challenges they have faced, conversations they have had, and personal roadblocks they've encountered in coming to terms with Scott's sexuality. Whether it's revisiting trusted journal entries or recounting past experiences, Stella and Scott take the audience on a journey of self-discovery and hopefully end up all the wiser.
