Student Volunteerism - Earth Week - UT Dallas Butterfly Flutterby

10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Location: Student Services Addition (SSA) lobby

Help maintain the UT Dallas Butterfly Flutterby, a monarch waystation on the university campus. This waystation joins the national effort of Monarch Watch, an organization dedicated to restoring habitats used by monarchs in their annual migration.

Volunteers will assist with various outdoor tasks such as planting, sowing seeds, and weeding.

Volunteers will meet and sign in at the Student Services Addition (SSA) lobby at 10:00am and walk as a group to the UT Dallas Disc Golf Field.

Plants, seeds and supplies will be provided. This event requires some outdoor manual labor. Closed-toe shoes are required. This event will take place rain or shine (with the exception of severe weather), so please dress for the weather.

In partnership with UT Dallas Facilities Management and the Office of Sustainability.
