Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is widely used in clinic as a diagnostic modality for its non-invasive and non-radiation properties. In recent years, Hyperpolarized MRI, especially Hyperpolarized 13C Metabolite MRI has become a hot topic due to its possibility to reveal basic metabolism and cancer / disease metabolism. This presentation will briefly walk through the field to give the audiences in physics a general introduction about the technologies and possible applications of the Hyperpolarized 13C Metabolic MRI.
