Rethinking Form in Latin American Literature and Visual Art: EODIAH Symposium
Friday, Jan 19
9:45 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. Location: ATC 3.225

The talks will be grounded in literature and art from Latin America and the symposium will be focused on a set of theoretical issues and problems that are central to literary studies, art history, and media studies in general (e.g., the autonomy or heteronomy of the aesthetic object, the relationship between politics and aesthetics).

The symposium is made possible by the generous and collaborative support of the Edith O’Donnell Institute of Art History, the Center for U.S.-Latin America Initiatives, and the Center for Translation Studies.

Please RSVP to Lauren LaRocca [email protected]. Visit EODIAH for more events.
