CI CAMP 2012:

Rock Creek Ranch, McKinney, Texas
Each summer, through the generous support of the Crystal Charity Ball, the UT Dallas Callier Center coordinates a fun-filled summer camp for children with cochlear implants.
Graduate students from the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at UT Dallas participate as camp counselors or “buddies” for the campers.
The campers receive listening and speech-language therapy throughout the week and participate in exciting camp activities such as fishing, arts and crafts and music.
The campers also have the opportunity to be with other children who have cochlear implants, and family members have an opportunity to come together and share information.
