For half a century, the UT Dallas Callier Center for Communication Disorders has been a leader in providing in-depth, advanced evaluations and innovative treatments for patients across the lifespan with a wide variety of speech, language and feeding/swallowing disorders.

For every person we treat, our experienced, licensed and certified speech-language pathologists provide a unique and individualized plan of care. Featured Speech and Language Program: SmILE

SmILE Banner Image

SmILE (Small-group Intervention for Language Emergence) is a group program designed to facilitate language development in young children (ages 2 - 3 years). The curriculum is organized by content themes in preschool routines that are utilized to provide intensive language intervention and social skills development. The program is led by a certified, licensed speech-language pathologist with the support of graduate student clinicians.

Callier Center Dallas

  • Ages: 2 - 3 years
  • Session: September 3 - November 19, 2014
  • Days/Times: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
  • Cost: $180 per 60-minute session (may be insurance eligible) + $75 nonrefundable activity fee
  • 15% discount available for pre-paid semester program

Callier Center Richardson

  • Ages: 2 - 3 years
  • Session: September 2 - November 20, 2014
  • Days/Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
  • Cost: $180 per 60-minute session (may be insurance eligible) + $75 nonrefundable activity fee
  • 15% discount may be available for pre-paid semester program
