Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Memorial gifts are a meaningful way to honor a loved one. Tribute gifts are appropriate for many special occasions throughout the year, including birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and holidays. A special acknowledgment card is sent from the Callier Center to the family or friend advising them of your thoughtful gesture.

Callier Care Fund

Contributions to the Callier Care Fund are used in three critical areas that we encounter daily:

  • Infants through seniors who are unable to pay for patient treatment.
  • Students faced with financial roadblocks while earning a degree to become future audiologists and speech-language pathologists.
  • Research seed money for projects with promising methods to diagnosis and treat patients.

Program Support

The Callier Center houses a number of significant programs. Among those for which we are currently seeking funding are:

  1. Callier Clinical Evidence Center conducts clinical and transitional research in all areas of communication disorders.  The focus is on critical questions concerning:
    • Development of new diagnostic procedures for children and adults with communication disorders.
    • Effectiveness of various treatment approaches in audiology and speech and language pathology.
    • Dissemination of clinical evidence to families and professionals throughout the world.
  2. It Takes Two To Talk program teaches parents to facilitate communication with young children who are at risk for future social and academic failure.

Endowments

Endowments are needed to provide for the long term financial stability of proven programs developed by the Callier Center.

Endowed Chair    ($500,000 - $2 million)
Endowed Professorship ($100,000 - $500,000)

Planned Giving

A donor may make the Callier Center the beneficiary of a specific dollar amount, property, or a percentage of the total estate. By naming the Callier Center in a will, the donor may save on inheritance and estate taxes and help ensure a thriving future for the Callier Center’s education, clinical and research endeavors. Options also exist to make a gift that provides income to the donor during their lifetime.

We welcome the opportunity for a confidential visit with you and/or your financial advisor to provide details that will help you determine the most advantageous means to make a contribution within your individual circumstances.
