Other Internships Abroad
We can also help you to determine, along with your academic department, if the internship abroad would be able to count for academic credit here at UT Dallas. Assistance regarding all other aspects of the international experience is available through the Office of International Education (OIE).
All UT Dallas students who plan to complete an internship abroad need to satisfy the "Institutional Protocol" published by the OIE. Please see the OIE website for more details on what is required. Also, students must adhere to strict deadlines for international experiences. Deadlines for the next few academic years are as follows:
Spring 2013 — October 31, 2012
Summer 2013 — March 29, 2013
Fall 2013 — May 29, 2013
Spring 2014 — October 31, 2013
Summer 2014 — March 28, 2014
Fall 2014 — May 23, 2014
International experiences are not only important for personal development, but are becoming more and more valuable to have on a resume in such a global, competitive environment. Any student considering these opportunities should get started early!
