We would be pleased to host you for an on-campus interview day! The UT Dallas Career Center facility includes private interview rooms that can be scheduled at various times throughout the year.
Scheduling Your Visit
To reserve your campus interview date, contact the Recruiting Coordinator (972-883-6842) in advance of the desired date. It is recommended that a 4-5 week notice be given to ensure all steps of the process are completed. You will then be directed to UTD CareerWorks to complete the schedule request form on which you will provide a detailed job description and criteria upon which to screen candidates.
Your job and interview opportunity will be made available to candidates from the date the schedule is confirmed until the posted deadlines expire. If applicable, please send recruiting literature, employment applications and other materials you require at least one week prior to your interview date.
Schedule Options
You may choose from two different types of schedules:
Preselect Schedules
Interested candidates will have the opportunity to drop their resumes electronically until the pre-select deadline expires. After the pre-select deadline expires, the resumes will be available to you for review through UTD CareerWorks. You make your selections and "submit the picks." Selected candidates are then given access to the interview schedule so that they may select their interview times.You may monitor the schedule activity over the web or contact the Recruiting Coordinator (972-883-6842) for an update.
Open Schedules
For an open schedule, candidates meeting your qualifications may sign up on the interview schedule on a first-come, first-served basis. The sign-up deadline is set 7 days prior to the campus visit to allow time for you to receive and review the resumes prior to your campus visit. You may retrieve resumes over the web or by contacting the Recruiting Coordinator (972-883-6842).
Resume Collections
If you are interested in UT Dallas students, but do not want to participate in on-campus recruiting, we provide a resume collection service. The procedures are similar to the pre-select interview process, except you will contact the candidates of interest to you directly to schedule an interview time at your site.
Should you decide that there is enough interest to schedule an on-campus recruiting visit, contact the Recruiting Coordinator (972-883-6842) to reserve a date for your campus visit. The resume collection can be converted to an on-campus interview schedule.
Interviewing Policy
Only UT Dallas students and alumni who are registered with the UT Dallas Career Center are allowed to participate in the on-campus interviewing program. Should you meet candidates in whom you have interest who are not registered with the Career Center, please encourage them to register so that we can get them on your interview schedule.
