Faculty/Staff

Our mutual goal is student success. By working together we can ensure the transition from student to a member of the work force is as seamless as possible. Review our offerings to students. Share this information with your students. Connect them to the Career Center.

Requests for Presentations

We are available for class presentations, seminars, consultation and participation in research on career-related topics. To schedule a special career-related presentation for your students, please contact the Career Center Associate Director, Career Programs to make arrangements.

Graduate Follow-up Reports

We conduct a survey of all graduating students to collect information on their post-graduation activities. A report of the data collected is compiled after the end of each fiscal year. Encouraging graduating students to complete a Graduate Follow-Up Survey boosts your department numbers. (Graduate Follow-up Survey and Internship Reports are viewable at the Statistics link.)

Internships

We coordinate a comprehensive internship program for students in all schools, except ECS. We serve as a partner to the academic programs to enhance the student's educational experience. We maintain a database of appropriate opportunities for our students. See the information we provide to students for a more detailed overview and please let us know if you would like to be contacted about how we can assist you in developing, administering and/or maintaining an active Internship program for your students.

PLEASE NOTE: For Engineering and Computer Science students — The Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science has the Industrial Practice Program (IPP) which coordinates all internships for these majors. Please see the Industrial Practice Program website for additional information.

On-Campus Student Employment Services

We coordinate the on-campus student employment process for all part-time student jobs that are not benefit-eligible (both work-study and non-work-study).
