Faculty/Staff
We value our partnership with you as we work together to provide an enriched educational experience for our UT Dallas students. We are building a career education program based on the philosophy that career development is a lifelong cyclical process. We invite you to review our offerings to students and ask that you share this information with students, helping them to see the value of an early and continuing connection with the UT Dallas Career Center.
We also provide the following programs and services related to the work you do with students:
- Class Presentations
- Graduate Follow-up Reports
- Internships & Cooperative Education
- On-campus Student Employment Services
Requests for Presentations
Our Career Center Staff are available for class presentations, seminars, consultation and participation in research on career-related topics. Should you wish to schedule a special career-related presentation for your students or ask for our participation in a related research project, please contact the Career Center Associate Director of Career Development to make arrangements.
Graduate Follow-up Reports
The Career Center conducts a follow-up survey of UT Dallas graduating seniors and graduate students each semester to collect information on the post-graduation activities of our graduates. A report of the data collected is compiled after the end of each fiscal year.
Internships & Cooperative Education
The Career Center coordinates a comprehensive cooperative education & internship program for various majors. We are here to serve as a partner to the academic programs to enhance the educational experience of UT Dallas students.
We maintain a database of appropriate opportunities for our UT Dallas students. We serve an administrative and liaison role for the employing organization and UT Dallas academic units; the academic units coordinate related academic supervision and requirements.
See the information we provide to students for a more detailed overview and please let us know if you would like to be contacted about how we can assist you in developing, administering and/or maintaining an active Internship/Cooperative Education program for your students.
On-campus Student Employment Services
The Career Center coordinates the on-campus student employment process for all part-time student jobs that are not benefit-eligible (both work-study and non-work-study). We offer a web-based system that allows you to post your student jobs online and collect resumes of interested students over the web. For more information go to the On-Campus Student Employment section of this website.
