According to Manpower, Inc.'s 2007 Talent Shortage Survey, the following jobs, listed with some of their qualifications, are most in need of qualified employees:
Sales representatives - a four-year degree with courses in marketing, leadership, communication, business or advertising, and with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Teachers - postsecondary teacher jobs require a range from expertise in a particular field to a Ph.D., depending ont he subject being taught and the type of educational institution
Engineering technicians - a degree in engineering technology plus creativity and good communication skills
Management/Executives - a bachelor's or more advanced degree and typically several years of experience within an organization
Accountants - professional certification or licensure, a master's degree and proficiency in accounting and auditing computer software
