your... Senior Year

• Create targeted versions of your resume if necessary.
• Monitor updated job listings on a regular basis on UTD CareerWorks and other specific websites relating to job search focus.
• Review and expand list of prospective employers.
• Attend Career Center Senior Seminars.
• Connect with career development programs, such as the Pre-Health and /or Pre-Law programs.
• Participate in mock interviews.
• Prepare and/or review resume, interview skills and professional business attire.
• Schedule an appointment to meet with the Career Coach.
• Contact former employers and former internship supervisors to request references.
• Determine ability to pass a drug test, criminal background check or credit history report.
• Ensure voice mail greeting and email address are professional.
• Review social networking sites and/or personal web pages for appropriate, professional content.
• Update personal portfolio.
• Join professional organizations in career field of choice and attend career specific workshops.
• Attend UT Dallas Career Expos and other regional job fairs.
• Schedule interviews on and off campus.
• Connect with networking contacts and update them on job search efforts.
• Evaluate job offers received.
• Report job offers and job acceptance to the Career Center by completing the online Graduate Survey.
