Deloitte’s Dallas office recently hosted a reception for UT Dallas alumni who work at the company.
Members of Deloitte’s senior leadership, along with University faculty, staff and administrators attended the event. Deloitte was a founding strategic partner when the Naveen Jindal School of Management’s Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance was founded in 2003. Skip Moore, a partner at Deloitte, served several years as an institute advocate.
“The connection that President (David) Daniel is able to make with alumni is priceless,” Moore said. “And it is crucial for our management team to learn more about UT Dallas, both domestically and internationally. We are working on a partnership that creates a pipeline for Chinese national graduates of UT Dallas to start their careers at Deloitte in China and we have had a great response so far.”
Moore leads the firm’s technology, media and telecommunications practice in the Mid-America region. At UT Dallas, he serves as the chair of the Jindal School Advisory Council.
In the last 10 years, Deloitte has grown to more than 1,400 employees in North Texas.
