Raytheon: A Strong Support
Raytheon supported the UT Dallas Veteran’s Day Celebration.
Raytheon’s long-standing, broad-based partnership with the University has benefitted the company and campus in many key areas. Raytheon invests in student development by providing merit-based scholarships, supporting an undergraduate research competition and interacting with student organizations. Participation on advisory boards also allows Raytheon to help shape the direction of academic programs. And the company collaborates on sponsored research and student design projects.
By bringing together qualified students, faculty and Raytheon engineers, both organizations raise their level of work, bringing an increased value to customers and students.
"UT Dallas provides tremendous opportunities for Raytheon to encourage and support science, technology, engineering and math students who will further our nation's ongoing role as an economic leader of the global economy," said Lynn Mortensen, vice president of Engineering, Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems. "I gain valuable insights each time I'm on campus or interact with a student or professor."
