Psychiatric Consultation
Psychiatric consultation is available to UT Dallas students in counseling at our center. If it is determined that a student in therapy might benefit from psychotropic medication, a referral may be made. Only students in counseling at UT Dallas are referred for psychiatric treatment at the center.
The UT Dallas Counseling Center has a part-time psychiatrist on staff. Students are responsible for the cost of their medications.
Referrals for psychiatrists in the community are available.
