Faculty and Staff DART Transit Passes
The University of Texas at Dallas provides faculty and staff with affordable access to public transportation to help make commuting easier for employees and to reduce the number of vehicles on campus to alleviate parking demand. Employees may purchase annual DART Transit Passes at University-subsidized rates at the Parking and Transportation Services window in the Bursar's office.
2014 Annual Passes
The full cost for an individual to purchase a DART Local Transit Pass is $800 per year. DART offers discounted transit pass through UT Dallas to employees for $600. From Dec. 1, 2013 through Feb. 15, 2014, UT Dallas will subsidize part of the price so that the annual cost for employees will be $300. After Feb. 15, annual passes will continue to be available to employees, but will return to the DART employer rate which is $600.
Employees will need to present a completed pass application, Comet Card, and full payment in cash, check, credit or debit card at the time of purchase. Your pass will be printed and given to you at the Parking and Transportation Services window in the Bursar's office.
Passes are effective Jan. 1, 2014 and are valid until the end of the 2014 calendar year.
DART Transit Passes cannot be purchased via payroll deduction.
DART police will issue citations to riders bearing expired passes.
