| The School of Arts
and Humanities provides the opportunity for students
to complete Texas Teacher Certification requirements
in English and History. Students who seek certification
in these fields major in either Literary Studies or
Historical Studies and certification requirements
are
integrated with requirements for the major and included
among electives. These students are advised both by an academic advisor in their major and by a certification advisor in the Office of Teacher Certification.
