That’s the philosophy in the Jonsson School’s interdisciplinary programs office. Solving the significant problems of today demands expertise in many different disciplines. In the past, interdisciplinary solutions were often approached by simply stitching together answers from discrete problems. Today, scientists and engineers and others from a variety of disciplines join together to look at problems systemically.
