More than 150 students from Dallas-area high schools and middle schools competed Oct. 25 in the Dallas BEST Robotics Competition, supported in part by the Jonsson School. Two all-girl teams were among the four teams that advanced to the regional championship: Ursuline Academy, The Hockaday School, J.J. Pierce High School and St. Mark’s School. The Texas BEST Regional Robotics Championship will take place Nov. 15, 2008, at the University of North Texas.
