ramRam Pratiwadi, rpratiwadi@student.utdallas.edu
B.S.: The University of Pennsylvania
Curriculum Vitae

Research interests: Using emerging materials to create nanoscale devices for the purpose of building neurally inspired CMOS-compatible architectures. The goal is to achieve energy efficiency and computational complexity similar to the human brain. Currently, I am investigating scaling effects on silicon analogs of neural primitives using simulation tools. Upon engineering circuits that meet specific target parameters, I will be fabricating these devices in UTD’s clean room.

arifArif Sonnet, sonnet@student.utdallas.edu
M.S.: Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology
B.S.: Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology
Resume

Research interests: The electrical characterization of different high-k dielectric materials on compound semiconductors (e.g., GaAs, InGaAs and GaN) focusing on the interface properties (i.e., interface states and the energy level of these states) between these high-k and compound semiconductor interfaces. Also interested in modeling the behavior of these high-k materials on compound semiconductors and trying to understand the effects of indium mole fraction in InGaAs.

archanaArchana Venugopal, axv075000@utdallas.edu
B.Tech.: Pondicherry Engineering College
Resume

Research interests: Interests revolve around graphene and currently involve determining an efficient method for exfoliating graphite, investigating surface and interface properties and electrical characterization of simple devices atop multilayered graphite with the eventual goal being efficient device fabrication with graphene as the conducting channel.
