Educational highlights
My favorite classes were Digital Communications and Wireless Communications. Both of these classes provided me with in-depth knowledge in my field of interest. I got to learn a lot and apply that knowledge during my internship.
Dr. Randall Lehman was my favorite instructor. His course and methods are focused toward industrial knowledge. He is approachable and lets you work independently.
Internship
Working at Qualcomm as an intern complemented the learning process for me. I obtained a much better understanding of American work culture, and I was able to work with highly acclaimed researchers in the field of wireless communications. It was a fun place where I had opportunities to learn from people who were always willing to share their knowledge.
Long-term plans
I intend to work in the wireless sector and grow with the industry.
Final thoughts
I am an international student from Nepal. I have loved the educational system here and the place too. I hope I will one day be able to share my knowledge and experience in Nepal.
