  • January 8, 2010 - TA’s -Mandatory for TA's-from 9:00-3:30 in ECSS 2.102 from 8:00am-4:30pm (lunch will be provided)

Fall 2009 InAbsentia Deadlines

  • December 7, 2009
    Last day to request a Final Oral Exam if InAbsentia.
  • January 20, 2010
    Last day to conduct a final oral exam if InAbsentia.
  • January 27, 2010
    Last day to submit a dissertation, ready to be bound.
  • December 8 - January 8, 2010
    May NOT conduct a Final Oral Exam, classes not in session.

August 18, 2009 - TA's and RA's in room ECSS 2.102 from 9:00am-12:30

and August 19, 2009 - TA's from 9:00-3:30 in HH 2.402 (lunch will be provided)

 

 

As TA’s and RA’s, you will assume new responsibilities as employees and as valuable additions to the instruction and research agendas of the institution. Your expanded roles require acquaintance with the rules of the academy regarding compliance issues and your relationship and interaction with students when acting as an assistant instructor and researcher.

Completion of this two day orientation program will satisfy

Please note that TEACHING ASSISTANTS must complete all of the January 9 orientation program to be eligible for continued appointment as a teaching assistant. Attendance will be monitored throughout the January 9 program.
