AIM 2300 Principles of Accounting (3 semester hours) This course will introduce students to accounting concepts and principles used to make decisions by business managers and investors. The course is designed to benefit all students who will be future users of accounting information. This course cannot be used to fulfill degree requirements by students in the School of Management. AIM 2301 (ACCT 2301) Introductory Financial Accounting (3 semester hours) An introduction to business financial reporting designed to create an awareness of the accounting concepts and principles for preparing the three basic financial statements: the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows. The course is designed to benefit all business students who will be future users of accounting information. (3-0) S
BA 3361 Organizational Behavior (3 semester hours) An integrated social science approach to understanding organizational issues. This course explores theories and concepts derived from diverse fields including psychology, sociology, economics and anthropology. The topics include: learning and motivation; attitudes, values and ethics; perception; communication; leadership; group dynamics; decision making; power and politics; conflict and negotiation; and organizational structure. BA 3365 Marketing Management (3 semester hours) Marketing principles including marketing planning, the decision making environment, market measurement, product decisions, promotion, pricing, and distribution. Special emphasis placed upon the determination and evaluation of market segments. (3-0) S

Recommended Track for ATEC
The minor in Business Administration requires 18 hours. Students should take either AIM 2301 or AIM 2303 and four approved upper-level business or accounting courses. ATEC students that have a 3.00 and are within 30 hours of their degree are eligible to fast-track into the MBA Program. The graduate equivalents are given in the third column.
