U.T.D. Upgrade Opportunities
Academic Excellence Scholarship recipients are eligible to apply for an upgrade of their scholarship when they complete 30 U.T.D. hours and have a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.75. Scholarships will be awarded until all funding has been exhausted. Applications are due no later than June 1st.
The following information pertains to the upgrade received based on the initial scholarship award:

*Only one upgrade will be awarded. Recipients who are awarded an upgrade of their scholarship, and who have not utilized their eight semesters of eligibility upon graduation, are ineligible to apply it toward graduate school.
Scholarship Opportunities for Non-AES Recipients
Students who enroll at U.T.D. without an Academic Excellence Scholarship award are eligible to apply for the Recognition Scholarship after completing a minimum of 24 U.T.D. credit hours, and achieving a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.75. Students who have earned at least 90 cumulative hours are not eligible to apply. The number of semesters awarded will be based on the number of cumulative hours the student has and are made each year after spring semester grades are recorded and evaluated. The deadline date to apply is June 1st. The applications are available in the Multi-Purpose Building (MP3.206). Scholarships will be awarded until all funding has been exhausted.
The Application is applicable for both the upgrade program and for current non-AES recipients.
